2018 South East Asia Education and Humanity Dean's Forum at NTNU

In response to the New South Bond policy, the Taiwan Strategic Alliance for Colleges of Education and Humanity/National Taiwan University System (TSA-CEH/NTUS) held a 2018 South East Asia Education and Humanity Dean's Forum on March 12th. 14 deans and deputy deans from six top universities in the region paid a visit to NTNU and had an in-depth discussion with 20 academic leaders and outstanding professors.

The Chinese Taipei Tug-of-War Team Got 3 Gold 1 Silver at 2018 TWIF Indoor Championship

The Chinese Taipei Tug-of-War Team, consists of athletes from Jingmei High School and NTNU, did well at the championship at 2018 TWIF Indoor Championship. The team grabbed 3 gold and 1 silver and bring honor to their school. 2018 TWIF Indoor Championship was held in Xuzhou, Jiangsu on March 8th. Vice President of Office of Student Affairs Chang Shao Hsi led the team to China.

Academic Administrator Leadership Seminar at NTNU with Global View

The Academic Administrator Leadership Seminar, held for academic leaders in different universities in Taiwan rounded off on March 2nd, thanks to President Hsu Tien Ming of the National Academy for Educational Research, Chairman of the Department of Physics Liu Hsiang Lin and Chairman Yu Mei Kuei of the Graduate Institute of Social Work. It's hoped that after this seminar, all leaders in higher education in Taiwan can see the local issue with a Global view.

Anna Kindler Share Experience on Pluralistic Faculty Promotion

Senior Advisor International Anna Kindler was invited to be chair professor of NTNU. She gave a speech with the title of "Teaching and Educational Leadership Tenure Track at UBC: What it is and how it works from institutional and faculty perspectives" on March 1st.

NTNU ranked 29th globally in Library and Information Management

Quacquarelli Symonds has announced the latest QS World University Rankings by Subject 2018 on February 28th. More than ever before, this year's ranking features 48 different subjects. "Classics and Ancient History" and "Library and Information Management" are added this year. In the subject of Library and Information Management, NTNU is ranked 29th globally.
