Masterclass at NTNU with World Class Soprano

World class soprano Jamie Barton will soon perform in Taichung. Chinn-Horng Nanette, Chair of Music Department, invited Jamie to come to NTNU and have a masterclass. Four students have the chance to go on stage and the masterclass is open to the public.

NTNU Ranked 22nd Globally in Education

Times Higher Education has announced the latest World University Rankings 2018 by subject: education. National Taiwan Normal University is ranked 22nd in the world and 3rd in Asia. This is another ranking, after QS Rankings by Subject announced this March, revels that NTNU is at a leading position in education.

Ten Years of Oversea Volunteer of Love Myanmar Club

Professor of Departments of Civics and Education, Yen Miao Kuei, have organized the teacher’s camp in Myanmar every summer for ten years with Love Myanmar Club. Over the years, they have helped raised 250,000 books, 161 laptops and influenced over 1300 teachers and administrators to improve the education for the next generation of Burmese Chinese.

2017 Flying Geese Camp for New Academic Leaders

The annual Flying Geese Camp: Academic Leadership Development Program was held on September 22nd to help new academic leaders to be on track and lead the team. New academic leaders can know how administration is worked in NTNU in this two day program and they can know each other, learn from each other.

Viola Masters Nobuko Imai and Koji Otsuki Came to NTNU

Nobuko Imai, a Japanese classical violist with an extensive career as soloist and chamber musician, and Koji Otsuki, a professional in baroque music, came to Taiwan in their busy schedule to give lecture to NTNU students on September 26th.
