In 2010, Global Views Monthly presented an issue about the proud of Taiwan, reporting on people that stand up the global stage. Prof. Hou Shih Kuang who graduated from the Department of Industrial Education, now teaching at the Department of Technology Application and Human Resource Development was selected because of his contribution for educating the winners of International contests.2017.0217
Foreign Students Celebrated New Year Together
In order to let the foreigners in Taiwan feel the traditional New Year atmosphere, the Office of International Affairs of the National Taiwan Normal University held an overseas Spring Festival party on January 13, with wonderful performances, food and lucky draws (the biggest prize is the ipad mini) and games, to prepare a Taiwanese New Year celebration for oversea students.2017.0215
NTU System visited the Philippines in January
From January 10th to 13th, the NTU System delegation went south to the Philippines and received a fruitful outcome. In addition to visiting University of Asia and the Pacific, Ateneo de Manila University and University of Santo Tomas to discuss the possibilities of cooperation, NTU System have also discussed with the Ministry of Science for future cooperation and established the relationship with well-known higher education institutions in the Philippines.2017.0125
Saving Solar Energy make it to the cover of Inorganic Chemistry
Prof. Chang I Jy from the Department of Chemistry and PhD student Kelvin Yun-Da Tsai has a breakthrough in the research of solar power. The ruthenium bipyridine complex, under the excitation of light will effectively catalyzes the oxidation of bromide to bromine. The research result was published at the famous journal Inorganic Chemistry and was chosen as cover story. The laboratory of Prof. Chang has been focusing on Photochemistry for years.2017.0125
