NTNU and China Asia Associated University Set up Mandarin Center

As the market of mandarin learning expands around the world, NTNU cooperates with Asia University and China Medical University and signed the agreement of establishment the “United Mandarin Center of NTNU and China Asia Associated University” on July 6th at Asia University.

NTNU Alumni goes to Global Entrepreneurship Summit

Viola Cheng from the In-service Master Program of the Department of Adult and Continuing Education was invited to the 2016 Global Entrepreneurship Summit as the first Taiwanese representative. The 7th Global Entrepreneurship Summit was held by the United States from June 22nd to 24th in Silicon Valley. Among 5000 entrepreneurs, only 100 will be selected by the United States Department of State. There are three people from Taiwan that has the honor and Cheng is the only student.

International Conference on Positive Behavior Support in NTNU

The Department of Special Education held The First Asia Pacific International Conference on Positive Behavior Support on June 24th and 25th. 120 Professionals and scholars from the States, Canada, Australia, Korea, Japan, Hong Kong and Siri Lanka had a good time in the conference hall at the library.

NTNU Has the Highest Acceptance Rate for 2016 Youth Ambassadors

The 2016 International Youth Ambassadors Exchange Program just announced the list of members. Among 100 students, 12 of them are from NTNU, making NTNU the school that enjoys the highest acceptance rate this year. President Chang met the Youth Ambassadors of NTNU on June 21st, giving them the flag of NTNU.

NTNU reaches 58th in QS University Rankings: Asia 2016

QS University Rankings recently announced the new rankings for Asian universities for 2016. Last year, NTNU was ranked 64th. This year, NTNU moved up six places to number 58. Since the first year of QS Asian University Rankings, NTNU has been making some progress year by year.
