Student from the Dept. of Industrial Education Grabbed 2 Gold in WorldSkills

Chen Min Heng from the Department of Industrial Education won the gold medal in automobile technology and Best of Nation in WorldSkills Competition, also known as tradie Olympics. This is the second Gold medal of Taiwan since 1997. In addition, Chen also received the Gold medal of Best of Nation and this is the best total score in different categories of Taiwan since 1970.

Gold Medalist for World Skills Competition in 24 years Trained by NTNU

Dean Lin Chun Liang of the College of Arts helped training contestants for the 44th World Skills Competition and grabbed the gold medal that hasn’t belongs to Taiwan for 24 years.

NTNU Ranked 22nd Globally in Education

Times Higher Education has announced the latest World University Rankings 2018 by subject: education. National Taiwan Normal University is ranked 22nd in the world and 3rd in Asia. This is another ranking, after QS Rankings by Subject announced this March, revels that NTNU is at a leading position in education.

NTNU Students Visit Companies and School in Indonesia

When speaking about Jakarta, many people may not know that it's the capital of Indonesia. The Office of Teacher Training and Career Service of NTNU started a program that sends students overseas for a two-week internship. With the support of the Ministry of Education, NTNU sent 5 students from different backgrounds to Jakarta, Indonesia. Associate Professor Lin Tzu Bin lead 5 students to Indonesia in September. This time, pre-service teachers and those who aren't in education program all went abroad to visit educational institutes and companies. They have visited Jakarta Taipei School, Tungya Collins Terminal, Daijo Industrial, Moon Lion Industries Indonesia and Formosa Plastic Indonesia.

Mobility of NTNU Students Discovering the World

National Taiwan Normal University has 70 years of history. Among more than 40,000 universities in the world, the academic reputation of NTNU has reached no. 289; in terms of internationalization NTNU was ranked 122 in the world, which is also the highest in Taiwan. Times Higher Education (THE) made a list of the world's top 200 universities with the most foreign students and NTNU was ranked no. 152, the only university in Taiwan listed. All of the above have shown that NTNU is recognized internationally with the improved quality of research and internationalization.
