Sharing of the Internship Program at Chinese Taipei School Penang

There are many ways you can choose to spend your summer vacation, some choose to work to make money, some go travelling, and a group of NTNU students and teachers go on an adventurous journey of learning at Chinese Taipei School Penang. Yen Chun Chieh led 6 students and won 6 awards in Japan

Full time Assistant Professor of Music Department, Yen Chun Chieh, led six young pianists to Japan for the 5th International Young Pianist Competition and won six top prizes with 720,000 Japanese yen.

NTNU at 2016 Higher Education Expo in India

In respond to the New Southern Policy, Vice President Sung Yao Ting and a group of faculties went to India to attend the Taiwan Higher Education Exposition 2016. In addition to the exposition and visit local schools, they have meetings with Tien Chung Kwang, Taiwan's representative to India to know more about the current situation of Chinese learning and higher education in India.

Taiwan ranks No 1 for 10 Years in International Earth Science Olympiad

The Taiwan team, trained by professors of NTNU, had a good showing at the International Earth Science Olympiad hosted in Japan from 20 to 27 August. A total of 26 countries and 100 participants are in this game. The Taiwan team got o four gold and ranked number 1 in the world. Huang Chia Kuan from Taipei Fuhsing Private School personally has the highest ranking, and other three students also ranked within the top 5. Since the beginning of this competition, which was in 2007, Taiwan has stayed top 1 for the 10th consecutive year with 29 gold and 11 silver.

Taiwan Scores 1 Gold and 2 Silver 1 Bronze at 2016 iGeo

Team of Taiwan did well at 2016 iGeo, taking 1 Gold, 2 Silver and 1 Bronze medal and the group ranking is number 5th in the world. The 13th International Geographic Olympiad was held in Beijing from August 16th to 20th. A total of 45 teams, 173 contestants joined the competition. Yao Yung Ruei the gold medalist said that he has been fascinated with maps and globe since little. He know how big the world is through leading geography. All Taiwanese representatives agreed that you need acquire comprehensive knowledge for iGeo, which includes history, biology, earth science as well as logistic thinking, English reading and writing.
