The National Alumnus Association General Meeting Wang Chin-ping Hoped the Alumnus Helped NTNU Reformed
The first general meeting of Alumnus Association was held at NTNU on February 5th. 140 alumni from all over Taiwan gathered together reelected next chairman. Principal Kuo indicated that alumni were the strongest strength to urge on the school progressive and the biggest supporters.

A Hundred Candlelight lighten Taiwan Remote Area Participators Moved to Share
In order to concern about the children who were insufficient of educational resources, NTNU gathered a hundred students from four towns, went to the remote area in Taiwan and tutored students from ten junior high schools for free.

The domestic physics annual meeting would hold at Cheng-Kung University on February 2th. More than 1000 outstanding professor were expected to participate, and would publish the paper content.

In order to help students of the educational resources deficient area, NTNU held the activity【2009 Hoping•Download】since last year, gathered a hundred student volunteers from Taiwan, China, Hong-Kong and Macao to tutor children living in the remote area.
