NTNU Renews MOU with SFU

On March 29th, President of Simon Fraser University Andrew Petter and administrators came to NTNU to meet with President Wu Cheng Chih for re-signing the MOU. Vice President for International Affairs Yu Kuang Chao also came to the meeting. They have spent a nice time together and deepen the connection between the two schools.

NTNU Alumna Recognized by Forbes as 30 Under 30 Asia

The 30 Under 30 Asia by Forbes was announced on March 29th, four Taiwanese women made it to the list and one of them is the founder of Good Food Enterprise Viola Cheng. The alumna started her business Good Food Enterprise Co in 2014.

First TUCE Symposium from NTNU and Uppsala University

The 1st National Taiwan Normal University and Uppsala University Symposium on Computing Education, held by the Department of Computing and Engineering Education, Uppsala University and Graduate Institute of Information and Computer Education, was held on March 16th to 17th. Professors from Sweden and Taiwan discussed about education on information and computer engineering.

Yu Ai-wen Wins at World Shooting Sport Championship 2018

Junior student from the Department of Athletic Performance, Yu Ai-wen, received gold in the women's 10-meter air pistol event of the International University Sports Federation (FISU) World Shooting Sport Championship by a total of 237.6 points. This is her first gold in a International competition. She returned to Taiwan on March 19th. Her first coach, Kuo His Chung, Chair of Department of Athlete Performance Yu Chih Ying, Chair of Athletic Department Wang Ho Sen all went to the airport to welcome her home.

Dept. of Physic Wen Tzu Yun Got Gold from WKF

Wen Tzu Yun, from Department of Physical Education, defeated the Gold winner of last year Tuba Yakan by 3:1 on March 18th on European Championships held in Rotterdam, Netherlands. This was her first gold award this year and she moved a huge step closer to the Tokyo Olympics 2020.
