NTNU Students Visited MOFA

The faculty of the Center of Careers Service led students to visit the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on October fifth. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of China (MOFA) is a cabinet level policy-making body, governed under the Executive Yuan of the Republic of China. Senior executive officer Chang, Officer Tsai and Section Chief Cho prepared presentation and guidance for NTNU students to know more about the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Yen Chun Chieh led 6 students and won 6 awards in Japan

Full time Assistant Professor of Music Department, Yen Chun Chieh, led six young pianists to Japan for the 5th International Young Pianist Competition and won six top prizes with 720,000 Japanese yen.

NTNU at 2016 Higher Education Expo in India

In respond to the New Southern Policy, Vice President Sung Yao Ting and a group of faculties went to India to attend the Taiwan Higher Education Exposition 2016. In addition to the exposition and visit local schools, they have meetings with Tien Chung Kwang, Taiwan's representative to India to know more about the current situation of Chinese learning and higher education in India.

Aim for the Top University Exhibition

There was an evaluation for the “Aim for the Top University” project led by the Ministry of Education took place on October 3rd. A number of evaluation members visited the booth of various fields and they are all positive about the huge success, especially in the field of sports science, all the members are impressed.

Alumni Wilbur Lin was invited to conduct at El Salvador

The ProArte Association of El Salvador held the concert of Youth Symphony Orchestra which include the participation of guest conductor Wilbur Lin, the event took place from September 26th to 30th. Wilbur Lin, graduated from NTNU in 2011, currently reside in Indiana. During his stay, he will give master class, demonstration and help La Orquesta Sinfonica Juvenil de El Salvador, OSJ in the preparation of two concerts.
