Another Silver Goes to Rhythmic gymnastics in 2017 Universiade
One of the last competition in the 2017 Universiade took place on August 29th. Hsu Tzu Chi, from NTNU Gymnastics, received another silver medal in 3 balls 2 ropes, defeating top athletes from Japan and Ukraine after the team got a silver for All-around. Their coach Masami Nakata is now a Ph.D. student at Department of Physical Education, NTNU. For two consecutive days, the team of Chinese Taipei defeated competitors from Japan, South Korea and China, setting the best record of Chinese Taipei in this category.2017.0912
Bronze for Women’s Basketball Team at 2017 Universiade
The Chinese Taipei Women basketball team member Wang Wei Ling, Huang Hsiang Ting and Chen,Yen Yu are from the Department of Athletic Performance, NTNU. On August 28th, the team earned a bronze medal against Russian team 81-66 whose players are 2 meters tall. With the cheering voice of thousands of supporters, the players shook their shoulders dancing in the field with great joy.2017.0912
Weightlifter Lo from NTNU Grabbed Another Bonze in Women's 90kg Class
Chinese Taipei weight lifter Lo Ying Yuan received the fourth bronze medal in the weight class of 90kg. A student from the Department of Athletic Performance, Lo lifted 105 kg in the snatch modality and 130 kg at the clean and jerk for a total of 235 kg and eventually obtaining a bronze medal for the Taiwanese delegation.2017.0912
First Attempt of Women's Rhythmic Group All-around from NTNU Grabbed Silver in 2017 Universiade
The Women's rhythmic group all-around of this year's Taipei Summer Universiade was held on August 28th at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center. Hsu Tzu Chi, a student from Department of Athletic Performance, participated in the rhythmic group. In the 5 Hoops event on August 27th, Chinese Taipei was ranked in second with high score. in 3 balls 2 ropes and received a silver medal with a total of 32.00. This is the first medal brought back by Taiwanese athletes in Universiade.2017.0827
